A pub landlord critically injured after he was hit by a car on a golf holiday in Portugal was flown home yesterday.
Stan Hawkeswood, who has run the Queen’s Head in Horspath for the past nine years, suffered a bleed on the brain and broke his leg in two places in the Algarve accident on April 26.
