THESE girls were showing the dogs how it was done at the East Oxford Fun Dog Show yesterday.
Molly Ackland and her friends Anna Beekmayer and Olivia Hartley led the way through the hurdles course at the dog show at the SS Mary and John School playing field.
Molly, 11, said: “It was quite a lot of fun doing the courses. I can understand why the dogs would like it.
“My favourite one to watch was the hurdles, because you could see both the dogs and their owners were having a nice time.”
The day was put on by Friends of Aston’s Eyot.
There were dog classes, which cost £1 to enter, and a raffle and tombola as well as the jumping.
Molly said: “I have a dog, an English springer spaniel Milly, but I didn’t take her to the show.
“I may enter her in the grooming contest next year though.”
