The victorious Oxford Boat Race crew had a choppy end to the day of their win when thieves broke into their minibus.
A rucksack and a red cotton bag containing seven of the crew's belongings were taken from the blue Ford, which was parked at the Quintin Boat Club in Chiswick, west London.
Police said the valuables were stolen between 5.20pm and 7pm on Sunday as the Oxford crew achieved the biggest victory since 1973.
The rucksack was found later in a toilet but a purse containing £40 had been taken from it.
