A MISSING man from Oxford has been found after police used their helicopter to look for him.
Thames Valley Police said they received reports that the man - who has not been identified - was missing at 12.48pm today and that he was found later at about 4.30pm.
Residents reported seeing the police helicopter hovering above North Oxford, near Staverton Road, at about 3.30pm.
It stayed there for about half an hour before going south east to Headingdon.
A police spokesman said: “We conducted a search for a missing man from the Oxford area and a helicopter was deployed.”
