PENSIONER Veronica Benito made sure dancers got a refreshing cuppa when they turned up to the weekly tea dance at Woodstock Social Club.
The former pub landlady is used to pouring drinks and was almost rushed off her feet by 54 thirsty OAPs at the dance session on Tuesday afternoon.
She said: “Gwen Mason runs the tea dance at the social club and I have been coming here for about 12 years. It’s a nice social event and it gets you out of the house – it’s very popular with pensioners.”
The social club in Oxford Street also runs ballroom and sequence dancing on Thursday evening.
