PROFESSIONAL dancers strutted their stuff this weekend as part of the Oxford Tango Festival.
The event at Lady Margaret Hall in Norham Gardens, is the third of its kind to be held in the city and ran from Friday through until yesterday with about 200 people attending.
Over three days it included a gala opening show featuring performances from Argentinian dancers Selva Mastroti and Marcelo Ramer as well as a range of Tango workshops.
Tango teacher and organiser Dante Culcuy said the festival has been growing more popular and successful every year.
He said: “It has been very good – people have come from across the UK, as well as from Italy, Russia and France.
“I think it was much better than last year.”
