A descendent of Jane Austen has started a literary foundation in Oxford.
The author of Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility is a fifth generation ancestor of Caroline Knight.
The Jane Austen Literacy Foundation will launch at the World Literacy Summit 2014 at the Holywell Music Room in Holywell Street on April 16.
The foundation will help fund and work with reading projects around the world.
