A teacher at Oxford Academy has been named the Everyday Hero of the Year after saving the life of a toddler.
Simon Underwood, 40, an assistant head, won the St John Ambulance award at a ceremony last night.
The 40-year-old saved the life of a 15-month-old boy last summer after he had fallen into water at Billing Aquadrome in Northamptonshire.
