Museums in Oxford are taking part in a special Museums Week, starting today, to highlight their work on the social networking site Twitter.
Museums taking part include the Museum of Oxford, in St Aldate’s, and the Pitt Rivers Museum in South Parks Road.
Visitors can use Twitter to ask museum curators questions and on other days the institutions will tweet along themes such as “day in the life” and “museum memories”.
