ALBERT Square was a bit greener yesterday as stars from the soap were spotted in Oxford’s Botanic Garden.
EastEnders actors Diane Parish, who plays Denise Fox, and Belinda Owusu, who plays her daughter Libby Fox, could be seen strolling through the garden.
Film crews were also spotted in Radcliffe Square.
The BBC confirmed the scenes will be aired in mid-April.
Giles Ingram, chief executive of Experience Oxfordshire, said: “From the sounds of these locations it has got to be fantastic news for us because the reach of the audience of EastEnders is enourmous.
“I imagine it will get these iconic images out to a much wider audience and that is excellent.”
The show’s executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins attended Merton College.
In 2010, Libby left Walford for a short period to study at Oxford University.
