THE A420 was closed tonight in both directions due to an accident at Kingston Bagpuize.
It was closed at the crossroads with the A415 and A338.
South Central Ambulance Service said it was called at 6.41pm to collision between a pedestrian and a car.
A man in his 40s was treated at the scene for a possible head injury and taken to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital.
The service could not say how the man was involved in the incident.
