AN inquest has opened into the death of a woman who was found in the river behind Oxford Ice Rink.
Firzana Saeed, of Hill View Road, West Oxford, was reported missing on Friday night and police recovered her body from the River Thames on Saturday.
Oxfordshire coroner Darren Salter said the 56-year-old had been discharged from the John Radcliffe Hospital on March 6 after a two-week stay. Mr Salter said after her stay she had not regained her appetite or energy.
Her body was recovered the following day in the river behind the ice rink on Oxpens Road. Mr Salter adjourned the inquest until July 9.
