Ringing bells and waving hankies filled the air during the Raglan Dance Workshop in Kennington.
Dancers flocked to the village hall on Kennington Road to learn a traditional morris dance, taught by the Rockhopper morris group.
The event, run with the Oxfolk Ceilidhs, involved a workshop on the triple-step Rockhopper stick dances.
Keen morris dancer Nicki Rose travelled from Winchester and said: “It was great. It was the first time I’ve done Raglan and it was challenging. I was aching the next morning. It was nice to try something different.”
Mrs Rose regularly takes part in events with the Jackstraws Morris Dancers in Farnham and the Red Stags Morris group in Hampshire.
After Saturday’s workshop, the Oxfordshire group put on a ceilidh dance which featured a performance by the folk band Brio.
