YOUNG people practised their dance moves during a four-day project and got to show their finest moves at a grand theatre show.
The Parasol Project charity and the Body Politic dance group organised professional dance company Candoco to work with 19 disabled and non-disabled youngsters.
The group rehearsed from Thursday to Sunday and then performed at East Oxford’s Pegasus Theatre yesterday.
Rose Reed-Berendt, 24, a dancer and Parasol Project member from North Oxford, said of the project “The kids absolutely loved it.
“Having a lot of enthusiasm from them and us has helped us all have a really good time.
“It has been really lovely for the staff and children involved.”
The project was part of the Dancin’ Oxford Festival, which finished yesterday. The Oxford-based The Parasol Project is a charity that works with disabled and disadvantaged children and young people. It aims to promote inclusion for all.
