THERE’S pothole-strewn streets and pothole-strewn streets and then there’s London Road, Headington.
Anyone driving down there would think they’ve entered a war zone given the massive defects in the road surface.
People usually march for rights or justice so it’s a mark of residents’ frustration that a placard-waving throng called for improvements to the road at the weekend.
The £1.3m pledged by Oxfordshire County Council is not an insubstantial sum and we await with interest the results of the work, both on completion and several years down the line.
