EVERYTHING is coming up roses for fledgling florist Sarah Motley after her blossoming talent landed her in finals of an artistic contest.
The 22-year-old is in the final of the Royal Horticultural Society’s Young Florist of the Year contest.
She will face 15 other youngsters aged 16 to 25 after winning the central heat for a floral collar that had to be suitable for a dinner dance.
Miss Motley’s design included fritillaries, hellebores and orchids.
She has worked at Daisies Flower Shop on Walton Street and said she thrived under manager Abigail Roberts.
The Marston resident said: “It is very exciting. It is about as good as it gets within floristry.
“I like the creativity, I like the passion you can put into it and that you can create something special for somebody.”
