The final flood warning for the city was lifted yesterday.
The warning that residents should expect flooding was in place for the River Thames between Newbridge and Kings Lock.
The Thames was last night however still on flood alert, meaning flooding was still possible and residents should be prepared.
A number of county roads remained closed, including Grove Road in Harwell, Lower Street in Islip, Dry Lane in Crawley, and Godstow Road, Oxford, from the A34 bridge near Wolvercote to the bridge near Wytham.
