Three arrests in west Oxford after police drugs raid

THREE people have now been arrested after drugs police raided a west Oxford home and newsagents this morning.

The Henry Road house and Supa Sava shop in Botley Road were searched by officers with a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act shortly before 8am.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the Henry Road property on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.

And a man and a woman, also in their 30s, were later arrested at the address on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs. The suspects are all currently in custody.

No arrests were made at the Supa Sava shop.

Meanwhile, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the Henry Road home at about 11am after a report of a broken tap or water leak.

But Thames Valley Police refused to comment on the cause of the leak.
