PRINCESS Anne arrived in Oxford by helicopter last night for a charity awards ceremony.

She spoke with charity trustees as she entered Oxford University’s Lady Margaret Hall in Norham Gardens.

The princess, who wore a blue and green tartan coat, was present the winners of The Ockenden International Prize.

It was the second annual award run by the charity, which has helped re-home displaced refugees across the world for more than 60 years.

The winners were the Norwegian Refugee Council for their project led by Lynn Walker in Zimbabwe helping families forced out their homes.

Charity trustee Steven Claypole said: β€œIt was terrific. The Princess was very and engaged in the projects.”
