A WHEATLEY man has won a BAFTA for his work on Gravity.
Niv Adiri is among a team from Studio 24 based at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire who last night won the BAFTA for sound at the ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London.
He and the team are also up for an Oscar, in the same category, which is to be announced next month.
Mr Adiri said: "It was just amazing and such a great feeling. I was a bit nervous beforehand, I don’t think you can’t be.
"The Oscars are the next big one, but just because we’ve got the BAFTA recognition doesn’t mean we will get that.
"I’m really looking forward to heading out there."
