OXFORD City Football Club supremo Thomas Guerriero is looking to set up a new team in the United States.
Mr Guerriero, president of the Court Place Farm-based club, has revealed he is looking to set up a Major League Soccer side in Miami using the Oxford City brand, just days after superstar David Beckham unveiled his own plans for a similar venture.
The US version of the club will be directly linked to Oxford City University, which Mr Guerriero is set to build in Florida.
Speaking exclusively to the Oxford Mail, Mr Guerriero also revealed his plans to set up an Oxford City TV station, following in the footsteps of its recently launched radio show.
And he has declared himself satisfied with the progress of the first team, despite their relegation battle in the Skrill North league.
Mr Guerriero said: βIn the future I can definitely see the Oxford City brand expanding to the United States.β
