MEMORIES of two unique cities inspired Oxford Town Hall Museum Gift Shop manager Gena Johns’s new exhibition.
The 22-year-old, pictured, is exhibiting three collages mixing images of Oxford and Osaka in the foyer of the Town Hall, in St Aldate’s. The Banbury resident was born in Osaka to a Japanese mother and British father but has lived in Oxfordshire all her life.
The Winchester School of Fine Art graduate regularly visits Japan and said: “It is like another world.”
Miss Johns said: “I work with childhood memories to create illusions with the past and present.”
The Paper Memories display is on show at the town hall until February 28.
