An electricity provider has apologised after homes in Oxford were left without power for more than two hours.
Homes in the Nobles Lane area of Oxford suffered the cut on Sunday, between 11.30pm and 1.30am.
Scottish and Southern Electric apologised to customers in the area and said it had been caused by a fault on an underground cable. It is not known how many homes were affected.
The company will now be carrying out investigations and necessary repairs.
