Atomic Pizza staff appeal for "stolen" Silver Surfer
THE Silver Surfer statue has been stolen from outside Atomic Pizza in Cowley Road, the restaurant has said.
Restaurant supervisor Matt McKenna said the chefs made the discovery opening up this morning at 9am.
He said: “We are obviously quite upset about it. It is really is a blow for no reason.”
He said the statue of the comic book superhero character – which stood on top of restaurant entrance – had been there when he locked up at 11.30pm last night.
