A man who admitted four firearms offences following a 12-hour stand-off with police in Kidlington has been jailed for 12 years today at Oxford Crown Court.

Daniel Rodriquez, 38, admitted possession of a firearm at the time of committing an offence on July 9, possession of an imitation firearm, use of a firearm with intent, and making use of an imitation firearm with intent.

He was also sentenced for three counts of rape and one of sexual assault.
