A bust of Sir Derek Jacobi was sculpted in only two hours this week at a fundraising event.
The film and stage actor, who was born and raised in Leytonstone, sat for sculptress Frances Segelman in front of a live audience at the Film Museum in Covent Garden on Wednesday.
The two-time Laurence Olivier Award winner sat as part of a charity event for the Islington Arts Factory.
The self-taught sculptress, who described herself as “sculptor to royalty and celebrity”, is currently working on a sculpture of Prince Charles and has created busts of the Queen, ex-footballer and actor Vinnie Jones, Sir Bruce Forsyth and others.
