A woman who cut her face and pretended she was the victim of two assaults to get her estranged husband’s attention has avoided jail.
Michelle Miller, 32, of Brandon Close, Kidlington, appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday to be sentenced for harassment and perverting the course of justice.
Recorder Simon Blackford sentenced her to a community order with 12 months supervision and told her to pay £1,500 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £250 costs.
