A SCHEME to get youngsters on the detective trail at Oxford’s Ashmolean Museum is proving popular.
Jo Rice, education officer at the Beaumont Street attraction, said more than 2,000 visitors followed different trails over the Christmas period.
When visitors arrive at the museum they can pick up sheets to find the items on 30 trails and tick them off.
Among the favourites are a trail on ancient Egypt and one on the Anglo-Saxons.
Ms Rice said: “These trails are tremendously popular, particularly with our young visitors, who love hunting for the different exhibits.”
