Staff at an Oxford pub decided to ensure they stayed afloat during the floods by rewarding plucky drinkers who braved the elements to reach them.
Pub manager Owain Llywd Jones kept The Fishes at North Hinksey open, making use of social media to ask pub-goers not to be put-off by the prospect of getting their feet wet.
Visitors who successfully made the trip were rewarded with discounts and anyone who rowed their way in was able to enjoy a refreshing pint for free.
