A PETITION with more than 2,000 signatures was handed to Oxford City Council yesterday calling for the development of the greyhound stadium to be rejected.
The council will decide at a public meeting on Wednesday whether the historic Oxford Stadium can be bulldozed and replaced with 220 homes.
Oxford East MP Andrew Smith handed in the petition at the Town Hall in St Aldate’s yesterday afternoon along with other campaigners.
