A 98-year-old woman died after a fall in the bath, an inquest heard.

Helen Elisabeth Walker lived on her own in Frenchay Road, Oxford.

She pressed a panic alarm after she fall on September 11 this year, which alerted a neighbour who went to her aid.

But she initially refused to be taken to hospital, Oxford Coroners Court was told.

However, she was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital the next day, where she died five days later.

Deputy assistant coroner Nicholas Graham ruled Mrs Walker had died from a haemorrhage to her brain.
