Older men are most likely to believe video games leads to aggression, a study found.
Research by the Oxford Internet Institute at Oxford University found men who did not or almost never, played games were three and a half times more likely to believe there is a link between gaming and aggression.
This compared with men who said they played computer games most days.
Women were almost twice as likely to believe the link.
Dr Andrew Przybylski said: “Whether electronic games are a good thing or a bad thing remains an open question, but it is a topic that stirs up strong views. Older men without gaming experience were the most concerned about online games being linked to aggressive behaviour.”
