YOUNGSTERS at the Botanic Garden in Oxford were given the chance to help decorate the attraction for Christmas.

Oxford University’s Botanic Garden is the oldest in the UK and uses its plants to create seasonal colour.

One of the children to help decorate the High Street garden on Saturday was eight-year-old Vicky Stasinaki and her sister Martha, 10, from West Oxford.

Her father Argyris Stasinakis said: “It was a nice morning out and they had a good time.

“They were decorating the Christmas tree and there were some activities for the children to make decorations.”

Martha said: “We had a nice time and we made some decorations for the Christmas tree.”
