X-Factor Jahmene’s spooky pumpkin is a shocker
9:30am Wednesday 30th October 2013 in News
X-Factor finalist Jahmene Douglas was a major draw for crowds of children to a Faringdon shop yesterday.
The runner-up of X-Factor 2012 took time out from writing his new album to hand-carve a Halloween pumpkin to raise money for charity.
The pumpkin was then raffled – attracting more than 100 people to Budgens in Faringdon.
Jahmene said: “I have never carved a pumpkin before, so naturally I took to Google for a step-by-step guide.
“It was so full in the shop, it was quite crazy.”
The raffle raised money for The Pump House theatre charity and a domestic abuse charity, Women’s Aid.
