Ian Davies, 49, of Oxford Homeless Pathways shelter, in Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing three bottles of wine worth £17.97 from Sainsbury’s, in Oxford, on September 19. Ordered to pay £9.98 compensation.

Ryan Carr, 25, of Hawksworth Close, Grove, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Wantage Market Place on September 7. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

William Dagul, 20, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted possessing 0.17 grams of ketamine, a class C drug, in Grandpont, Oxford on July 12, and 2.56 grams of cannabis, a class B drug, in Iffley Road on July 13. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. The ketamine, cannabis, scales and a grinder were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.

Elliot Vanderhyde, 21, of no fixed abode, admitted causing criminal damage to the wall of New Road Baptist Church, in Bonn Square, Oxford, on September 6. Given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Lee Boden, 30, of Oxford Homeless Pathway shelter, in Luther Street, Oxford, admitted burgling Reeds Solicitors, in Cambridge Terrace, Oxford, on March 27 and stealing a bag containing £310 in cash. Sent to prison for 12 weeks.

Wayne Huggins, 30, of Colwell Road, Berinsfield, near Wallingford, admitted stealing a portable DVD player worth £74.99 from Sainsbury’s, in Oxford, on August 21 and failing to surrender to Oxford Magistrates’ Court on September 9. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and fined £20. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs.

Matthew Mckechnie, 27, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted possessing heroin and crack cocaine, both class A drugs, in Speedwell Street, Oxford on September 23. Fined £110 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs.

Stephen Rushmer, 49, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place, in Queen Street, Oxford, on September 10. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Paul Shakespear, 38, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, admitted causing criminal damage to a Toshiba laptop between September 18 and September 19 in Wensum Drive, Didcot. Fined £60 and told to pay £100 compensation.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES

Craig Coles, 23, of High Street, Chalgrove, was convicted of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely Chalgrove High Street, on March 16. Fined £200 and ordered to pay £11.25 in vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.

Daniel Dawkins, 25, of Carrick Close, Dorchester, was convicted of keeping a vehicle without valid insurance in Dorchester on April 11. Fined £200 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £110 costs.

Steve Lewis, 43, of Station Road, Chinnor, admitted keeping a vehicle which did not have valid insurance on April 11 in Dorchester. Fined £180 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £120 costs.

Thomas McIntyre, 20, of Nash Drive, Abingdon, was convicted of driving an unlicensed vehicle on a public road on February 10 in Abingdon. Fined £200 and told to pay £90 costs.

Christopher Meacey, 47, of Stonehill Walk, Abingdon, was convicted of failing to notify the Government of the transfer of a mechanically propelled vehicle to a new owner at Stonehill Walk on February 5. Fined £200 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20 and £90 costs.

Redmond O’Mahony, 36, of Williamson Way, Oxford, was convicted of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely Williamson Way, on February 25. Fined £400 and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £90 and £90 costs.

Jill Rayner, 51, of Rectory Lane, Kingston Bagpuize, near Abingdon, was convicted of keeping an unlicensed car on a public road, namely Nuffield Way, Abingdon. Fined £400 and ordered to pay £45 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs.

Frank Brown, 56, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening, insulting or abusive words or behaviour within the sight or hearing of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress in Cowley Road, Oxford on September 5. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on April 24 by Oxford Magistrates’ Court for a public order offence. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £60 costs.

Richard Mitchell, 38, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted entering Blackfriars Church, in St Giles, Oxford, as a trespasser on June 9 and stealing collection money worth between £200 and £300. Also admitted stealing two bottles of wine from the Co-op, in Botley, on April 27 and assaulting PCSO Mark Jones in Oxford on June 1. Community order made with restorative justice requirement, drug rehabilitation requirement and nine-month supervision requirement. Told to pay £200 compensation and £20 costs.

Martin Sawala, 24, of Spruce Road, Kidlington, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Kidlington on August 23. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Wasim Ali, 20, of The Causeway, Banbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Drayton Road, Banbury on January 12. Fined £300 and told to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Tafail Mohammed, 19, of East Close, Banbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Drayton Road, Banbury on January 12. Fined £75 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Vicky Butler, 21, Judd’s Close, Witney, admitted aggravated vehicle taking and causing criminal damage to a Ford Escort in Witney on March 16. Given a 12-week prison sentence because of his record of similar previous offending and a 12-month driving ban.

Ryan Clifford, 25, of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with the notification requirements of the sex offenders’ register between May 31 and September 19 by staying in a house in Bloxham where there were children under the age of 18 for 12 hours or more. Also admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, at Banbury Police Station on September 19. Given a 12-week prison sentence because of repeated failures to comply over a long period.
