A NORTH Yorkshire-based technology group has seen a first quarter boost from a trio of new, local clients.
Knaresborough-based Vital Technology Group, which manages IT systems, has been taken on by executive recruitment company Newman Stewart, based in Bramham, near Wetherby, and Tadcaster law firm Bromets Jackson Heath.
Vital’s Online Studio has also created a website and will manage IT services for York-based Sumec, which is the service and after-sales arm for powered garden equipment from Homebase and Aldi.
Lee Evans, managing director of Vital Technology Group, said: “This is a really encouraging start to the year, and it helps to lay the foundations for us to grow on the previous 12-months when we reported a turnover of £1 million for the first time in our history.
“In the past year the business has grown substantially in terms of new clients and ongoing projects from existing customers, and this has seen us boost our staffing levels across all departments to manage the extra work.”
