Urgent appeal for blood doners in Redditch
SAINSBURYS Pharmacy in Redditch has again joined forces with NHS Blood and Transplant to help recruit new donors in the Redditch area.
Each donation could potentially save up to three lives so people are being urged to come down to the Alvechurch Highway store and find out more information.
NHS Blood and Transplant staff will be on hand to speak to people and enrol them on September 5, 12, 20.
Sainsburys Pharmacy will also be offering free cholesterol checks throughout the campaign.
Those thinking of giving blood for the first time, aged 17 to 65, weighing at least 7st 12lb and in general good health are eligible to donate.
