MOST people use their lunch break to relax and eat a sandwich, but staff at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre rowed the equivalent of the Oxbridge Boat Race – twice.
Sixty members of staff including physios, occupational therapists, doctors and nurses took part in the ‘workout at work’ event on Wednesday.
Activities at the centre in Windmill Road included running, walking, rowing, a bike ‘ride’ from Dover to Calais, as well as pilates and aerobic classes.
Simon Wood, 43, of Youens Drive, Thame, a sports physiotherapist at the centre, said: “There was a surprising amount of interest. It was a productive afternoon.”
