THE Oxford Pride parade was its usual riot of colour and reinforces just what an important event it is in the city’s calendar.
Campaigners say they are still fighting for equality for all members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities but they are optimistic that progress is being made all the time. Wouldn’t it be great if one day there was no need to fight for the right of equality?
