THE Morse franchise is worth more to the city than mere kudos.
Inspector Morse and its sequel Lewis have brought real economic benefits and the extension of the franchise with Endeavour should hopefully do the same.
And the fact that Endeavour is retro makes Oxford the perfect production stage for it.
