Competition: Last chance to Win Your Wedding!
Updated 9:49am Wednesday 10th April 2013 in News
BRIDES and grooms-to-be have until 5pm today to stand a chance of scooping a £14,000 wedding in the Oxford Mail’s Win Your Wedding contest.
Some 23 couples have entered our contest since it opened on March 25.
The winning lovebirds will be able to spend the happiest day of their lives in the opulent setting of Eynsham Hall in Witney.
The bride will be dressed by Blossom Bridal of Witney and the groom in a bespoke suit from Keates Menswear.
Everything from the wedding cake to a professional photographer will be paid for by us – you just have to enter to celebrate your big day any time this or next year.
Oxford Mail promotions manager Jo Coady said: “This is the best prize we have ever offered.
“I would be extremely jealous of whoever wins. I would be happy with just the dress.
“If people want to be in with a chance of winning they should get in their entry forms as soon as possible.”
Readers will be asked to vote for their top 10 couples with the finalists competing against each other to gain the most postal, phone and text votes.
The first Win Your Wedding winners were Botley couple Jamie Leach and fiancée Kate Harvey. They saw off competition from 33 other couples to get their dream wedding, worth £12,000, at Oxford Town Hall.
This year’s luxury package includes a wedding breakfast for 80 guests and an evening reception for 120 at the grandeur of Eynsham Hall, the perfect location for a romantic wedding.
A professional photographer will be on-hand to capture the special moments of your day.
As well as a beautiful dress for the bride and bridesmaid there will be suits for the groom and best man and an outfit for the mother of the bride.
Hair and make-up will be provided for the bride and bridesmaids along with flowers, table decorations, personalised invitations and, of course, the cake.
And to top it all off, the bride and groom can spend their wedding night at Eynsham Hall.
Ms Coady added: “With the average wedding costing £11,000, this is not just helping with the cost, this is a really enviable wedding day.”
All this year’s prizes have been generously provided by Oxfordshire wedding suppliers.
