A 19-year-old man is in hospital with serious head injuries following an attack in the city centre.
The man was in St Michael’s Street, near the junction with Cornmarket at about 1am on Sunday when he was assaulted by at least two men who ran off towards New Inn Hall Street.
The victim was found lying on the ground and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Anyone with any information should call police on 101.
