Police hunt for bakery robber

A man is wanted by police following a robbery at a bakery in Headington.

An employee opening the Greggs shop in London Road at 6.10am on Thursday, March 7, was approached by a masked man who pushed his way into the shop and demanded cash.

The robber was described as male, 5ft 7ins tall, aged about 25, and of slim to medium build.

He was wearing a dark blue jacket with pale sleeves and a red stripe along the arms, white jogging trousers, black and white trainers, and a dark woollen hat.

Call police on 101.

Is there nothing pigeons and people will do for a pasty?

With the bank job on the other side of the road a couple of weeks ago, Headington shops is getting a poor reputation...
