Cowley forum open to all

Anti-social behaviour is on the agenda at the next Cowley Area Forum.

Residents will be able to take part in workshop discussions about the impact of anti-social behaviour.

Councillor Sajjad-Hussain Malik, ward member for Cowley Marsh, said that anti-social behaviour was not a big problem in Cowley.

“If there are any issues we will pick it up,” he said.

He added: “The area forum is an opportunity for residents to discuss the matter in depth and to highlight any issues they may have.”

Reports of anti-social behaviour has remained steady in Cowley, with 48 instances reported in December 2012 compared with 52 in December 2011, according to the latest figures on the police crime mapping website.

The meeting will be held on Monday, February 25 from 7.30pm at The Regal Community Centre, Ridgefield Road. From 8.30pm there will be an open session for residents to raise concerns.
