MUM Rosalie Jameson praised a new campaign that encourages smokers to take their habit outside.

The 20-year-old, from Rose Hill, who is mum to nine-week-old Dylan, does not smoke herself, but lives with her brothers who are smokers.

Ms Jameson, who picked up information for her family at Rose Hill and Littlemore Children’s Centre in Oxford, said: “I think it is a really good idea.

“Because I have such a young child it means I am not putting his life in danger and I am not going to cause him any health problems.

“It shows I don’t really tolerate smoking around my little boy.”

The Oxfordshire Smoking Advice Service campaign is urging people to make their homes and cars smoke-free zones. Sue Bolton, of the advice service, hosted the event at the centre in Ashhurst Way.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service staff were also on hand to offer free home safety checks.
