A newspaper photographer has escaped punishment after taking pictures of jury members outside Oxford Crown Court.
Lucy Ford, of Smith Street, Warwick, who was working for the Banbury Guardian, was asked by Judge Ian Pringle to explain her actions.
The 34-year-old said she accidentally took pictures of two jury members and then asked them to identify a photo of a defendant.
Judge Pringle said there was potential her actions could have intimidated a juror – a contempt of court – but he found there was no intent and so would not impose a punishment.
