MUSICIAN John Caudrey has given ukulele lessons in Oxford for a year.
About 30 beginners meet at the Port Mahon Pub in St Clements every other week to practise.
The 45-year-old teaches groups in Reading and Newbury but set up a group in Oxford only a year ago.
Mr Caudrey, from Newbury, said that since December the number of people attending the groups has risen because people received the miniature guitars for Christmas.
Since starting up a year ago, several members of the group now busk or play gigs around Oxford. Mr Caudrey said: “As a musician I really enjoy teaching. The music ranges from 20’s jazz right through to Jessie J.”
