The man known as the Naked Rambler appeared nude in Oxford Crown Court yesterday as he bid to have charges of outraging public decency dropped.
Stephen Gough was walking from the Scottish border to his mother’s home in southern England when he was arrested in Carteron, West Oxfordshire, on Tuesday, December 4 .
The 53-year-old, of Chamberlayne Road, Eastleigh, Hampshire, spent Christmas in custody and will remain locked up until Tuesday when his defence team again contest the charges.
