People convicted of offences at Magistrates' Courts around the county recently
OXFORD
Lucy Somerfield-Cartwright, 36, of Bertie Place, Oxford, admitted beating a police constable in Abingdon Road, Oxford, on December 15 and committing a further offence while subject to a two-year conditional discharge given at Didcot Magistrates’ Court on March 2, 2011, for an assault in Kennington in 2010. Fined a total £110 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £20 costs.
Younis Ward, 19, of of Nye Bevan Close, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis in Abingdon Road, Oxford, on December 13. Fined £65 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs.
Danny Michael Brackett, 34, of Tern Walk, Oxford, admitted possessing 20 millilitres of methadone at St Aldate’s Police Station, Oxford, on November 6. Fined £110 and told to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £20 costs.
