YARNTON: Accident investigators were yesterday speaking to witnesses of the death crash at Sandy Lane level crossing near Yarnton.
Banbury man Tom Pizzey, 85, was killed when a Freightliner train hit the car he was a passenger in a week ago.
But rail authorities still have no answer as to why the incident occurred.
British Transport Police spokesman Simon Letouze said: “After speaking to witnesses we may know more. The investigation is still ongoing.”
Any other witnesses are urged to contact BTP on 0800 405040.
